Are you a seasoned, sophisticated graphic designer with a passion for innovation and storytelling through visual design? Do you thrive on creating compelling corporate materials that leave a lasting impact? If so, we invite you to apply for a remote contract role with our Chicago client as a Senior Graphic Designer.
Our client is developing a professional, high-quality corporate communications piece (similar to an annual report) and they need a skilled designer who can collaborate with internal stakeholders to conceptualize, refine, and deliver an impactful design. They also need someone who can potentially translate the design concepts to an online format.
This is a contract remote role, starting in early January. Initial projected contract length is 3-4 weeks. Hours per week will vary based upon the stage the project is in.
Local candidates to the Chicagoland area are preferred.
Hourly pay rate is $40-60, depending upon experience.
A portfolio must be provided to be considered for this role. We're looking for consistent, numerous high level examples of professional, corporate communications annual-report type designs.

In this role, you'll:
- Lead the creative process for designing the deliverable
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment
- Develop multiple design concepts and present innovative options
- Execute high-quality design work, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- At least 5-8 years of professional graphic design experience, with a focus on corporate and professional materials
- Proven expertise in creating corporate communications or similar high-stakes projects
- Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Exceptional creativity and ability to think outside the box to develop innovative design concepts
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
